Step 2 — Write, schedule and publish

Then she runs your marketing on autopilot

From the first draft to the published post, every channel stays on brand, and nothing risky goes out without you.

  1. Write

Written in your brand, for every channel

Maggie picks a post template, a voice, a look and an image style for each channel from your brand profile, so LinkedIn, Instagram and Google all sound and look like you.

  2. Check

Content Policy Guard for regulated industries

Choose your industry's rules, or write your own. Before anything goes out on autopilot, Maggie checks each post, and one that may break the rules is held as a draft for you, with a suggested rewrite.

    FinancialMedicalInsuranceLegalEducationYour own rules

These checks are AI suggestions, not legal or compliance advice. They help a lot but can't catch everything, so in a regulated industry a person should still review posts before they go out.

  3. Autopilot

Pick the days, times and how many posts a day for each channel, or let Maggie choose the best slots. Then decide per channel: approve every post yourself, or let her post on autopilot. You can pause any channel at any time.

Will it sound like my business, or like a robot?

Before writing anything, Maggie reads your website and researches your business: what you sell, who buys it, how you talk about it and who you compete with. That becomes your brand profile, and every post is written from it.

You can change any word before a post goes out. Maggie remembers what you change and what you turn down, separately for each website and channel, so the drafts get closer to your voice the more you use it.

Will anything be posted without my say-so?

Not unless you choose that. By default every blog and social post waits in To review until you approve it, from the app on your phone, the web dashboard, or ChatGPT and Claude.

If you'd rather not check every post, you can switch on auto-approve for one channel at a time and keep review on for the rest. You can switch it back whenever you like.

Will Google penalise AI-written content?

Google's own guidance is that it rewards helpful, original content however it was made, and acts against pages made in bulk just to game rankings. Maggie writes about your real business, from your own research and your own words, and you review it before it goes live.

Nobody can promise rankings, and we don't. What we can say is that Maggie writes for people first, with clear structure, so search engines and AI answers like ChatGPT and Google's AI Overviews can understand and quote it.

How soon will I see results?

Social posts can go out as soon as you approve the first ones, so you'll see activity and reach within days. Search takes longer: new blog posts usually take a few weeks to be indexed and a few months to build up traffic.

Connect Google Search Console and you can watch it happen: which posts are being found, for which searches, and how that changes week by week.

How much of my time does it take?

Getting started takes a few minutes: enter your website, let Maggie research it, and connect the channels you use. Your website can be on WordPress (with our plugin), Shopify, Wix, Webflow, or anything else through our API. Social channels include LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Google Business, with YouTube and TikTok in beta.

After that, day to day it's usually a few minutes of approving posts, which you can do from your phone. Maggie does the research, writing, pictures and scheduling.

Why not just use ChatGPT myself?

ChatGPT writes when you ask it to. Maggie does the whole job: she keeps your brand profile, plans what to post and when, writes for each channel, makes the pictures, checks posts against your rules, publishes them and tracks how they do. You don't have to start from a blank prompt every day.

If you like working in ChatGPT or Claude, you can keep doing that: connect cmo.so to them and talk to Maggie from there.

I'm in a regulated industry. Is it safe for me?

Turn on Content Policy Guard and choose your industry's rules (financial, medical, insurance, legal, education) or write your own. Maggie checks every post against them before it can go out, holds anything that may break them as a draft and suggests a safer rewrite.

It's an extra check, not legal advice, so in a regulated industry we recommend keeping review on so a person signs off every post.

Are my accounts and data safe?

Social channels connect through each platform's own sign-in (LinkedIn, Facebook, Google and so on), so we never see your passwords, and you can disconnect at any time from cmo.so or from the platform itself.

We never sell or rent your data. Search Console data is only used to show your own results and plan your content, never for advertising or to train AI models. Videos you upload are only used to post them and are deleted within 7 days.

I already have a marketer or an agency. Do I still need this?

Maggie works well alongside them. She does the repetitive work (research, drafts, pictures, scheduling and posting) so your marketer or agency can spend their time on strategy and on approving what goes out.

Agencies can run many brands from one account. Plans are per website, so each client gets their own brand profile, channels and allowance.

What if it isn't for me? Can I cancel?

Start on the free plan, with no card needed, and only upgrade when you're happy. Paid plans are monthly. If you cancel, your plan carries on until the end of the month you've paid for.

Everything already published stays on your website and your social accounts. It's your content on your channels, so leaving cmo.so doesn't take any of it down.
